Alice was born and raised in France in a little town just north of Paris. She moved to the Quad Cities her freshman year of high school to live with her grandparents. Post graduation, she worked as an assistant manager in a small shop where she developed her customer service and leadership skills. After sharing her idea of opening a pastry shop with her customers, she decided to go back to her roots and learn the art of French patisserie.
3 years later, after obtaining her degrees in pastry, ice cream, candy making, and chocolateering, she came back to share her scrumptious creations and delectable desserts to tantalize your taste buds.
October 2016, Carousel of Delights will open its doors to fill a need in the community for a place to buy great tasting éclairs, tartlets, cupcakes, macarons and a variety of drinks.
Carousel of Delights strives to create and serve pastries made with high quality, local, organic ingredients. Our made from scratch French desserts with an American twist are fun, innovative and sometimes unusual. From homemade marshmellows, to pumpkin macarons, to all natural juice, there is nothing we cannot make!
